Diploma in Computer Science in Programming Technology
Course Duration: Two and a half Years
Program Description :
This program has been designed to match the training needs for the local job market and relying on the national professional standards for assistant programmer and developer of Internet technologies. This program includes training on general skills in English, Math, Communication Skills and Dealing with other people. This program also includes training in basic skills in computer software development and Internet technologies as well as specialized skills in the field of computer software, such as database design and systems analysis and the use of programming languages in the development of different applications in addition to the use of various techniques in Web development.
Keeping in view the trainees’ need for the practical implementation of the learned skills, a project is completed in the last semester of the course.
In the Programming Technology specialty, the institutes and academies under the supervision of General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training offer 1584 hours of training in addition to the 420 hours of training in the labor market.
A graduate of this specialty receives a Diploma in Computer Science (Programming) which is equivalent to an intermediate university degree in the same specialty from technical colleges and is expected to work in the field of Computer Programming as an assistant programmer and developer of Internet technologies and other various jobs related to computer programming.

Diploma of Computer Science in Computer Networking Technology
Course Duration: Two and a half Years
Program Description :
This program has been designed to match the training needs for the local job market and relying on the national professional standards for a network technician. This program includes training on general skills in English, Math, Communication Skills and Dealing with other people.
It also includes training in basic skills in computer and operating systems as well as specialized skills in the field of computer networks, such as those relating to technology, routing & switching and building local networks and WAN architecture, as well as the programs to address network security.
In the Networking Technology specialty, the institutes and academies under the supervision of General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training offer 1600 hours of training in addition to the 420 hours of training in the labor market.
A graduate of this specialty receives a Diploma in Computer Science (Networking) which is equivalent to an intermediate university degree in the same specialty from technical colleges and is expected to work in the field of Computer Networking as a Computer Operator, Data Entry, Technical Support, and Standards and Specification Technician.
Target Market:
High school or University graduates and those who wish to enter IT field as a Network Administrator, Technical Support, Computer Operators, Data Entry and Standards and Specification Technician.
